About Me
I am really proud to have held senior and board level positions for some great companies and charities. I have been privileged to offer advisory and consulting services to some equally brilliant companies and set up Webstercomms in early 2022 as a way of offering my services.
I am unashamedly commercially focused and passionate about helping businesses and organisations to grow profitably in revenues and profile. Webstercomms has had a brilliant start and I am really proud of the work done to date the customers I work with and the results achieved.
After going to uni in London, I have worked in marketing, media or management mostly ever since. I now live in Whitstable on the Kent coast and have lived there with my family for over 15 years. I love travelling and enjoy running as a way of relaxing and try not to take things too seriously. I am also interested in investing, news, business, local community projects, cycling and watching rugby.
Starting off my career as a graduate marketing trainee with Yorkshire TV (remember them?), I was part of the team that launched Jazz FM and am proud to have also been part of the launch team for Classic FM. I also was the Managing Director and led the team that successfully launched the Heart radio brand in Kent and Surrey. I’ve run my own sales representation business, ran a sports newspaper, Sport First, I have also sold and account managed CRM systems with the UK’s leading media brands. I have been responsible for business development for a number of companies and was an Executive and commercial director of KM Media Group – where we sold commercial inventory across newspapers, digital platforms, radio and TV.
I have also been a founding trustee at Turner Contemporary in Margate, trustee at The Kent Foundation and chaired the Advisory Board at The Gulbenkian and I am currently an independent member of Whitstable Harbour Board. In the past year, I am really proud to have worked with and helped numerous businesses and organisations in developing their businesses and organisations.
